Quevedo, a Spanish rapper and singer, rose to fame in 2022 with the release of "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52". Over the course of two years, he has achieved four number-one songs in Spain, including "Cayó la Noche", "Quevedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52", "Apa", and "Playa del Inglés", as well as leading six other singles to the top 10.
Pedro Luis Domínguez Quevedo was born in Madrid and spent his early childhood in Brazil before returning to Spain at the age of five and settling in Las Palmas, the Canary Islands. He started his music career in 2020 after exploring freestyle rap with the help of music producer Linton. Quevedo's single "Ahora y Siempre" reached the 19th and second spots on Spotify's Global Viral 50 chart and Spain Viral 50 chart, respectively.
In 2022, Quevedo collaborated with Cruz Cafuné and Bejo on the remix version of "Cayó la Noche". He also collaborated with Rei on "Fernet", Duki and De La Ghetto on "Si Quieren Frontear", and Ed Sheeran on "2step". However, his biggest breakthrough came with the release of "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52" in July 2022, produced by Argentine producer Bizarrap. The single garnered over 10 million views within the first 24 hours of its release and became the first song by either an Argentine or a Spanish artist to reach the number-one spot on Spotify's Global Top 200 chart.
